THis is so annoying. There's not even an 'close' button to turn it off.

My first recording, recorded important issue on our project. Used editing tool to cut the video part off. Saved, shared. Video is now 1s long. well done... where is version history of the capture? how to recover it? trusted it for the first time and it screwed up. How can I trust it now?

Technically, this app captures screenshots/videos, but it's very clearly the minimum set of plain-vanilla features that DB needed to release in order to charge an additional fee. The list of missing features that you can find in better screenshot apps offer is a mile long, but it starts with being able to fine-tune the capture rect before finalizing the capture, or being able to adjust the granularity of pixelation/blur (or, better yet, choosing _between_ pixelation/blur)

I used to be able to take a screenshot and then paste it into another document. Now the screenshot is placed into a file -I can't find out how to fix, so I'm going to have to get rid of Capture.

The Captured screenshots are immediately presented but they are always totally black. That makes it impossible for me to annotate or draw anything on the captured screenshots. But the screenshots being directly saved are as captured and not blacken out. I'm using Dropbox Capture 98.9.0 (macOS). Please advise. Thank you.

The application works properly in all its features but the screenshots are empty, ie completely white. However, I can do everything else (view them, edit them, write and draw on them, etc.), but the base is completely empty/white.

My screenshots preview don't show up after capture. I just get the background color of the application. I will also never get the current in focus window after pressing the keyboard shortcut. I will get a random application that wasn't in focus.

Annoying !
