Shadows of video controls show up on recording

Not sure how to word this properly :) but when I drag an area to record, the shadow of the capture UI (such as the record button and counter) is picked up in my screen. note the image with the little shadow on the left side. This was encountered while making a GIF

Thank you so much Lauren! We are hoping to hide the controls completely from the recordings. We did it already on Windows and the fix on macOS should come soon!
