I am now having this same issue, which I wasn't earlier. I believe it may be either the latest version of capture or it may be due to the Sonoma Beta.
I am running macOS Sonoma beta 14.0 (23A5312d) on an 2021 14-inch MacBook Pro (M1). I am using Dropbox Capture v105.15.0
I have uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled and re-established permissions for recording permissions, but it shows the same behavior Yiyang Zheng reported that "no devices found" although I can use my microphones (both internal and external) with other apps.

The microphone works well in all other apps, only not working in Dropbox Capture. The app cannot detect it. In the microphone privacy settings, the microphone is on for Dropbox Capture.
