Change Capture Folder Location

Hey all -- we've just added this feature to Dropbox Capture! Open the app, click the three-dot menu, and open Preferences. Within the Advanced tab, you'll now see 'Default Save Location'. Press the location here to choose another folder within your Dropbox to save your captures. After this point, all new captures will save to the selected folder.
Ensure you're updated to the latest version of the app (v111+) to give it a try-- and let us know what you think!

+1. This way many captures could be made on an specific folder, making captures organized.

I would like the ability to set where in my dropbox the capture folder is located, and to be able to set the folder name.
For example we have a team folder I would like to save some captures in there so they are not owned by my account.

++ To this. It would be nice to be able to move the folder. Also unlike other Dropbox features, it doesn't seem to use namespaces/guids and instead just uses the hardcoded path "/Capture". So that if you move the "Capture" folder somewhere else, it doesn't put new Captures in that moved folder and instead just senselessly makes a new "/Capture" folder. In contrast, app folders (used by API apps) make use of namespaces and can be moved around by the user without effect. Same thing with shared folders. Would be nice if Capture did that.
Also re:Karan as far as to why I'd like to move the folder around, it's because I want all screenshots/captures in one folder. I don't want a "/Screenshots" and a "/Capture" folder. I just want "/Screenshots/Capture".

Thanks for your feedback Eric Hoke! May I ask why you're trying to move the Capture folder?

Karan Khanna: I want this because I created a sub folder just so I can keep the screenshots and PC recording separate from all my other screenshots. Why else does File Explorer allow multiple folders? To help better organize and quickly find important files/folders. Thanks Karan!
