+1. Delayed x seconds is essential for me.

+1 Super essential. Currently this is a pretty big gap between free OSS tools like Flameshot and Dropbox Capture

Capture screen with pre-set delay

It would be interesting to have an option to record with delay, after a few pre-established seconds to capture something after some action in the operating system.

Capture needs to be available in any situation

I wanted to use Capture to take a shot of my Windows 11 toolbar. I hit Windows key to make the start screen and the toolbar appear. I then typed shift-alt-S to invoke Capture. But when I typed the shortcut for Capture, the start screen and the toolbar both went away. I had to use Windows 11's native screen capture (ctrl-win-S) to take the screenshot. This is a fairly big deal. I often need to take pictures of things that are in a sort of transient state. The Windows shortcut (and also SnagIt) seem to be able to freeze the screen where it is when they're invoked. Dropbox Capture is now SO GOOD but to be perfect, it needs to be able to do this too. Thanks!

Delay screenshot capture

Just like the native Windows 10 capture tool (both of them) would be nice if we could set a delay like 1-5 seconds before it captures the screen.
Very usefull feature if you need to capture behaviors like the ones related to mouse hoover, textbox hints, apps menus and so on.

FYI to solve the problem of catching hover behaviors like tooltips, dropdowns, menus, etc:
If you use the keyboard shortcut to take a screenshot (instead of clicking the screenshot button in the tray) you'll be able to capture hover actions. The keyboard shortcut for screenshots is defined in the preferences panel of the tray under the "shortcuts" tab. By default it is
Shift+Alt+S
Timed screenshots may also be a great option in the future, but wanted to let you know what's possible right now.
Thanks!

Kyle Shay: Sometimes pressing anything dispenses the area I want to capture, I've just tested it on a company's internal software. But thanks, it's a good alternative for most occasions.

Occasionally you need to take a screenshot w/ an expanded dialog box - invoking the screenshot shortcut dismisses the dialog.
It would be helpful if there was an option to do a timed screenshot so that you can set it to screenshot and then shift focus and expand the dialog box.
