I find myself coming off sterile when marking up screenshots, something akin to whatsapp/Paper's emoji editing suite for mark up would encourage utilising it as well as adding a personal flair to marked up screenshots

+1 to this - I see there is now an emoji picker in the app but it only seems to support a handful of common emoji. It would be great to be able to open a full emoji picker. And even better if you could use common :smile/+1/etc: codes within typing text as well.
